Hello csodar,
thx for your questions. A new Laptop would be the best way. Your Laptop's now 3 years old. And if you buy a new one, there is allready an Operation System installed. Most of the time, there are also some other Tools on your new laptop like "Norton Antivirus", a test verstion of the newest Microsoft Office and more... But if you allready purchased some software, you just have to install the software and enter your product key which you got when you bought the product.
best regards,
your xtronics.ch team

I've had my laptop a little over 3 years and it's been slowing down over the years. For example, it takes a couple minutes to open Mozilla Firefox. I know it has to do with all of the junk on my hard drive, but I don't know how to go about cleaning it out. Should I completely wipe out my computer and start anew? If so, - will I have to re-order/ pay for programs such as Norton Antivirus? - will I need to install another copy of Microsoft Office/ buy a new version? Or, is there any FREE program that can help clean out the junk on my hard drive without completely wiping it out? If so, - Please name and describe the program. Sorry for the long question, but thanks in advance for the help!

I was playing an app on Facebook (Graffiti) and my Mac warned me that the page may contain malware. Of course I ignored it because I wanted to draw more with the app, and when i was done the page scrolled up by itself and my curser moved across the screen a bit on its own. Does my Mac have a virus? are there any built-in features that could be of assistance? are there any anti-virus programs safe to use on my Mac?
